Pieces fly from between the pursed,
Hushed lips, of one who dared not speak,
For fear of falling too far.
On its wings, it carries a message of
Unspoken cries,
From the unknown lies,
Of a soul that claimed “I’m fine.”
An unprecedented demise,
Still undisclosed,
From a world of letting go.
And the truth carried away from her,
Everything she’d been wishing,
Dreaming,
Hoping,
Seeing,
And it left her with nothing
At all.
