Have you ever been in so much pain,
That it destroys everything you feel,
A pain that is completely untouchable;
Unbearable?
Have you ever sunk so far beneath the surface,
You’ve nearly suffocated,
And thought nothing of it?
Have you ever watched the world
Slip
Through your fingers?
And have nothing to catch but the
Empty space, with vapour of absolute
Despair?
Sometimes, those with nothing to lose,
Can still have the least,
To gain.
They take up the outward form of
Indifference,
But their insides are screaming to get out.
They’re being torn apart piece, by excruciating piece…
And there’s nothing they can do.
